About
A quiet consultancy, built on curiosity.
Wise Ravens is a one-person practice — mine. I'm Keith North. After a long career in enterprise technology, I started this company to work the way I always wished vendors would work with small businesses: slowly, honestly, and hands-on.
Why I founded Wise Ravens
I've spent time on both sides of the table — inside the huge companies selling technology, and running small businesses that had to actually live with the results. What I kept seeing was a gap: the same practical improvements that transform a large organization rarely reach the local businesses that need them most, because nobody slows down enough to listen first.
Wise Ravens exists to close that gap. One business at a time, with a clear plan.
An engineer's mindset
I trained as an engineer, and I still think like one. That means I want to understand how a thing actually works before I suggest changing it. It means I favor small, reversible improvements over dramatic overhauls. And it means I care about details — the ones customers feel, even when they can't name them.
Curiosity is the through-line
Every business I've ever visited has taught me something. The septic company that knows every customer's driveway by heart. The restaurant that remembers birthdays without a CRM. The tradesperson whose reputation was built entirely on returning calls. Getting to understand how a good business really runs is the part of this work I love most.
AI and automation are exciting because — used well — they let a small business give every customer the attention a large team couldn't. That's the version of the future I'm here to help build.
Technology should stay human
The best technology is the kind you barely notice. It quietly handles the reminders, the paperwork, the follow-ups — and hands the important moments back to a real person. That belief shapes every recommendation I make.
If any of this sounds like the kind of partner you've been looking for, I'd love to hear about your business.
